2019 Mission: Raising Social Media Afterlife Awareness

Profile Peace invites you to join our mission for 2019 of raising social media afterlife awareness. Our purpose is to enable families and funeral directors to engage more meaningfully in productive conversation about laying a loved one's online profiles to rest - and your voice can help in the dialogue.

To achieve this mission, Profile Peace will be releasing an educational blog series throughout the year addressing questions and stories surrounding the impact digital lives have in our increasingly modern and technology driven world.  Some of the questions we will address in the coming months include:

• How has society adapted to the use of social media?
• What social media profiles does the average user have? 
• What happens to social media profiles after passing away?
• What does it mean to memorialize a social media profile?
• How do deceased social media profiles impact others?
• What does the future of social media afterlives look like?

We will address these questions throughout our informational series, and invite you to stay tuned by subscribing to our newsletter and following us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. We also welcome you to submit questions, stories, and comments as we strive to provide practical and valuable insights.

As our societal landscape continues to shift from the physical to the digital world, we can help foster conversation on best practices for helping families gain peace of mind.
